Under the direction of the Burbank, Glendale, and Pasadena fire chiefs, the Verdugo Fire Communications Center provides fire/rescue dispatch services to cities throughout the Southern California area. Currently, Verdugo Fire Communications answers 911 emergency medical calls and handles fire/rescue dispatch and communications for 12 cities.
This management position directs, manages, and oversees the day-to-day administration and supervision of the Center. This position requires an Associate’s degree and five years supervisory experience in a fire communications environment, with an emphasis in fire Computer Assisted Dispatch. A Bachelor’s degree is highly desirable.
